Is the paint safe if it goes in the mouth?
Yes. It is water-based toy paint under a coat of beeswax, and the unpainted toys are finished with linseed oil only. Everything here is meant to be chewed.

What happens if a piece breaks?
Send a photo. Wood can be sanded and re-oiled for years, and a loose peg or wheel is a ten-minute mend; say what happened and we will say what we can do.
