Admin -> Settings -> General -> Custom domain. Werklo shows the exact DNS records to add.
At your registrar. A root domain needs an A record rather than a CNAME -- that is a DNS rule, not a Werklo restriction, and the admin tells you which one you need.
Press Verify. If a record is missing or an old parking page is still in the way, the admin names the conflict instead of failing silently.

Which plan do I need?
A custom domain is included on every plan, Starter upwards. It is not an upsell.
Do I buy the domain from Werklo?
No. Buy it wherever you like and keep it in your own name; you point it at Werklo with two DNS records.
Can I use a subdomain like shop.mybrand.com?
Yes. A subdomain is usually the simpler setup, because it takes a CNAME.
What if verification fails?
Almost always a leftover record from a previous site or a not-yet-propagated change. The admin detects the conflicting record and says which one to remove.
